Terms of Service
By using Remove Metadata ("the Service"), operated by Black Magic Consulting, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Acceptable Use
You may use the Service to remove metadata from files that you own or have the right to process. You may not:
- Upload files that contain illegal content or that you do not have the legal right to process.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or interfere with the Service.
- Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law.
File Size Limit
The Service accepts files up to 500 MB. Files larger than this limit will be rejected. This limit exists to ensure fair access for all users and to keep the service free.
Automatic File Deletion
Uploaded files and the cleaned output files are stored temporarily and automatically deleted within 24 hours. We do not retain your files beyond this window. You are responsible for downloading your cleaned file before it is deleted.
No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times, error-free, or that it will successfully remove every type of metadata from every file format. Use the Service at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Black Magic Consulting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or any harm resulting from reliance on the Service's output.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing Entity
This Service is operated by Black Magic Consulting. These terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict of law provisions.
